A pioneer in San-Shou kickboxing, Jason Yee has over twenty years of martial arts experience. This former super-middle weight, kickboxing and Kung-Fu champion was a two-time U.S. team member. Jason has become a leading force in shaping the U.S. competition scene. As a coach he helped to produce several international fighting champions such as Josh Bartholomew, Al Lorieux, Marvin Perry, Rudi Ott, Albert Pope and Mike Norman.

Jason led the way and was the first American to medal at the 1st World San-Shou Championship held by the I.W.F. (International Wu-Shu Federation) in Beijing, China in 1991. Jason was the first and only competitor ever to compete in a single event simultaneously in forms, weapons and San-Shou fighting at the World Championships.

Jason holds the true title of All-Around Champion being the only American to win numerous National Championships in forms, weapons and full-contact fighting. Jason help bridge the gap between modern and traditional Kung-Fu in the U.S. by winning both Wu-Shu forms and Traditional forms at several National events simultaneously. His achievements led to Jason being inducted into Inside Kung-Fu Magazines Hall of Fame in 1993.

After, Jason continued to challenge himself by winning the 1994 National Super middle-weight San-Shou title. In 1997 Jason made another landmark in Kung-Fu by being the featured Super fight against top light heavy-weight champion Cung Le. This was the first ever Pay-Per-View airing of San-Shou fighting. This fight also was the first ever professional San-Shou fight, setting the stage for future professional San-Da bouts.

Jason went on to become a top coach in the U.S. National fighting scene. His team, The Boston San-Shou Team formed in 1995 dominated the fight circuit winning over 35 National and World titles in San-Shou, Muay Thai and American/International rules Kick-boxing.

Jason went on to become the coach of the U.S. National San-Shou Team in 1999. That year, one of his top fighters Al Lorieux won the silver medal at the I.W.F. World Championships. In 1999 Jason was also inducted into the W.K.F. Hall of Fame as Coach of the Year. Afterward, Jason spent several years producing, writing, directing and starring in his first action/thriller feature film titled Edge of Darkness a.k.a. Dark Warrior.
